Delivery

Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver to most areas of Australia through refrigerated home delivery. Use the postcode checker on our Delivery Areas page. If your postcode isn’t listed, send us a message and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Because your order is delivered chilled, it needs to go straight into the fridge as soon as possible. If you can’t be home, you can leave instructions when you order. Drivers can place your boxes in an outdoor fridge or Esky providing it is big enough the accommodate your whole box/ boxes. We can also deliver to your workplace.

Any requirements such as the examples given above relating to your delivery must be added to "special instructions" box in shopping cart.

For food safety reasons and the security of your order, drivers can’t unpack boxes or move individual packs to make them fit. Any fridge or esky you leave out will need to be large enough to hold the whole box or boxes.

Drivers are also not allowed to disclose their phone numbers or personally contact customers regarding delivery.

You will receive an email/ text the night prior to your delivery with an approximate ETA and tracking details. You will also receive an email/text when your order has been delivered.

Are your products delivered fresh or frozen?

All of our products are delivered to you fresh, not frozen.

Why is fresh better than frozen?

Fresh meat holds its natural tenderness and cooks better. Freezing creates ice crystals inside the meat, which can break down the fibres and cause extra liquid to leak out when you cook it. Fresh meat gives you better browning, more flavour and a nicer texture, and you get more yield in the pan. You can freeze your meat at home if you want to store it, but starting with fresh gives you the best results.

Shares

How do beef shares work?

A beef share is your portion of a whole animal. You can buy a whole beast, half, 3/4, 1/4 or 1/8 share. You pay dollars per kilo for the dressed weight, and you receive everything that naturally comes in that portion, including steaks, roasts, mince, sausages, bones and trim. You don’t choose your cuts when you buy this option.

What’s included in a beef share?

You’ll get a mix of premium steaks, slow-cook cuts, roasts, mince, sausages and broth bones. The exact mix depends on the animal, but you’ll always receive a full and fair portion
